Chalet Sunneschy is a beautiful family holiday home located 1,230m above sea level on a hillside in the village of Churwalden, in the Canton of Graubunden which is situated in South East Switzerland. It is positioned in a quiet vicinity just 5 minutes walk or 300m from lifts which access the extensive mountain regions of Lenzerheide-Valbella and the Rothorn, with their 2,900m peaks. This is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, ideal for a whole range of summer and winter sports.
Built in 1986 in the traditional Swiss style the chalet has matching wooden furnishings, an underfloor heating system and a log burning oven as well as all modern conveniences. It offers spacious accommodation on two floors and is ideal for families, comfortably sleeping 6 persons in 3 double bedrooms. It is available for rental all year round.
Churwalden is a 20 minute drive up a mountain road which connects the main regional town of Chur with the larger neighbouring resort of Lenzerheide. Chur is reached via the N3 motorway, being approx. 1½ hours journey by car or train from Zurich.
It may be conveniently accessed from either Zurich or Friedrichshafen airports which are served by BA and Swiss as well as by the budget airlines EasyJet and Ryanair.
